Community guidelines

Effective 3 November 2026

Covenantora welcomes Christians across countries, churches and traditions. Help make this a place of encouragement, honest conversation and care.

  1. Treat people with dignity. Disagree respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, bully, target people with hatred or pressure them through repeated unwanted contact.
  2. Be honest about who you are. Do not impersonate another person, ministry or administrator. Do not post scams, deceptive fundraising, guaranteed financial returns or repetitive advertising.
  3. Respect privacy and consent. Do not share someone’s private contact details, conversations, photos or prayer concerns without permission. Keep sensitive information out of public posts.
  4. Share responsibly. Do not post sexual exploitation, graphic violence, threats or material that encourages harm. Credit other people’s work and avoid presenting rumours as facts.
  5. Use safety tools with care. Block unwanted messages and report specific posts, messages or member behaviour. Give factual details. A report is a request for review, not proof that the person has done wrong.
  6. Respect moderation decisions. Moderators may review reports and remove content. Only administrators may apply or lift a temporary participation suspension. A suspension includes a reason and end time; it expires automatically unless replaced by another decision.

What a suspension means

A suspended account can sign in and read, use safety reporting and blocking, and remove its own posts and comments. It cannot publish, comment, like, follow, join or create groups, send messages, edit its profile or upload community photos while the suspension is active. Existing content and messages are not erased by suspension.

Reports, privacy and review

Member reports are visible to their reporter and authorised moderators, not to the reported member. Reported messages may be copied to the moderation team; other messages remain restricted to their participants. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Moderation actions are recorded in a staff-only history. Reports do not automatically suspend anyone.

If you believe a decision is mistaken, contact community leadership through your existing ministry contact channel and ask for a review. For an immediate danger, seek help through the appropriate local emergency services.
